Hi, I'm Quintin LaFoe,

I work primarily with analog film, drawn to its patience and honesty. My photography centers on subtle shifts, the quiet inflections in a person, a landscape, or a fleeting moment that often goes unnoticed.

 

Sometimes I direct. Often I wait. Either way, I’m looking for what feels unguarded and true.

I photograph professionals, strangers, and passing scenes with the same intent: to honor the details that make something singular. An inflection of these lives we inhabit.

I’m currently based in Rochester, New York, going between the UK and New York, I'm available for portrait sessions and select collaborations.

​

Portrait sessions begin at $350 per hour and include medium format film, developing, and high resolution scans.
